Pow Wow at Sunwatch

The pow wow was held at the Sunwatch Indian Village, original home of the Fort Ancient Indians about 800 years ago. The village is very educational and interactive. You can find out more about sunwatch by checking out their website at: http://www.sunwatch.org
The village huts provided the only shade at the pow wow site as well, so the children spent a lot of time there during the day. They found many other children to play with too, so there was no shortage of friends either! Nolan found a toad in one of the huts and tried to teach Nakai how to hold it.... Kaliyah had a great time being pushed around in her stroller by Nolan who really gave her some good rides! We felt so blessed to have been able to come out to the pow wow and experience the beauty of SunWatch.
