We shared a peaceful weekend at Parker Dam with Susan (Dennis' Friend from NY) and her daughter Kelly. It was nice to get away from the phone and the heaviness that has encompassed my home recently and enjoy a day in the woods. We hiked, we played on rocks, we watched the children play in the water, we smiled as Nolan found salamander after salamander, we shared stories and memories, we practiced deep breathing.
That evening we shared time together at the hotel swimming pool and laughed and played and smiled. We all needed that time together.
